RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION
The Theater of Cyrrhus
The theater of Cyrrhus was excavated by the French Archaeological Team since 1952 and abandonned. The aim of this project is the publication of the archives of the French team and to open thru new studies wider and future researches and projects of conservation of this second largest theater in Syria.
The publication will be realized in 2011 and published in 2012 with the help and the special grant of Harvard University:
THE SHELBY WHITE-LEON LEVY (Program for Archaeological Publications)Project: Publication of the archives of the former French archaeological mission of Cyrrhus Nebi Houri (Aleppo, Syria) and particularly a monograph on the Roman Theater.
Duration: Since 2010-2011
